Week 1: Max Rep Push-Ups, Max Rep Pull-Ups, Farmer Carry
*All participants must weigh in prior to max testing. 
Max Push-ups!

Perform as many reps as possible. Women touching chest to balance disk and returning to start with elbows fully locked out and hips neutral with spine. Men touch chest to floor.

Max Rep Pull-ups

Perform as many reps as possible using a neutral grip and reaching chin over knuckles then returning to start with elbows fully locked out. Women will use assisted pull-up machine at 55% of their bodyweight. (only chalk allowed for assistance).

Farmers Walk

Utilize loading chart to find appropriate weight (Men carry 125% of their bodyweight. Women carry their bodyweight.) Chalk is the only thing allowed for assistance. (no gloves, straps, etc.)

Week 2: 1 Rep Max Bench Press, 5 Rep Max Leg Press
*All participants must weigh in prior to max testing. 
1 Rep Max Bench Press

Perform a single rep max bench press. Maintain both feet, bottom and back in contact with the bench at all times. Maintain both hands in contact with the bar at all times. Bar must be lowered to chest and pressed with elbows fully locked out.

5 Rep Max Leg Press

Perform 5 rep max leg press. Bottom and back must be in full contact with the seat. Legs should be lowered to 90 degrees for every rep and returned to full extension

Wednesday Oct. 16th and 23rd
Car Push

Push a car 150 feet (women push 100 feet) as fast as possible. Wear appropriate atheltic footwear.

  • A point system will be used for the top finishers (10 pts. for first, 9 for second, etc.)
  • Participants must compete in all 6 events to be eligible for overall champion scoring.
  • Champions will be determined based on points. Overall champions will be awarded medals.
  • **On some lifts, the Schwartz/Malone formulas will be used to determine winners. These formulas are specifically designed to equalize scoring in determining the pound for pound strongest competitor in Olympic Lifts and Power Lifts.​​​​​​​
